DAY 1
CUSCO – CITY TOUR
WELCOME TO THE CITY OF CUSCO
As soon as you arrive to the land of the Incas. Cusco is located in the highlands of Peru, at 11,200 feet above sea level. Agency staff will meet you at the arrival gate of the airport. You will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. Our tour of the city of Cusco will begin between 13:30h and 14:00h. First, we will visit the Qorikancha, «The Temple of the Sun», one of the most impressive constructions of Inca Cusco. Afterwards, we will visit an impressive Inca archaeological complex such as Sacsayhuaman, Q’enko, PukaPukara and Tambomachay. Finally, our tour will end near the historic center of the city. You may wish to enjoy a nice dinner at one of the many nearby restaurants or we can arrange for you to be dropped off at your hotel, just tell your assigned advisor what you would like to do.

DAY 2
TOUR OF THE SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS
Between 06: 30h and 07: 00hrs, your transportation will pick you up to begin a day tour of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Our first stop will be the town of Chinchero, an incredible Inca archaeological site with magnificent Inca constructions and terraces. Among its crops there are hundreds of types of potatoes, as well as the colonial church. We will also visit the textile centers of the area, famous for its beautiful textiles. We will then visit the archaeological site of Moray, the agricultural laboratory and then the salt mines of Maras, after which we will travel to Urubamba, one of the main agricultural sites for the Incas due to its special climate and geographical qualities. Here, we will enjoy an exquisite buffet lunch surrounded by the Andes Mountains. After lunch, we will go to the Inca village and archaeological site of Ollantaytambo. Incredibly, most of its buildings, which were built by different Inca rulers, still remain today. Finally, you will have some free time to visit the citadel and then head to the train station where you will take a train to the town of Aguas Calientes. Once in Aguas Calientes, our staff will be there to accompany you to your hotel.

DAY 3
TOUR MACHU PICCHU
Today is the day! In the early morning hours, we will begin our tour to the sacred Inca citadel of Machu Picchu. Our tour of one of the Seven Wonders of the World will last 2 hours. We will explore the mysteries and magic of the sacred Inca citadel of Machu Picchu visiting the different areas of the city and its main attraction such as the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Sundial, the Royal Quarter, the Temple of the Three Windows and several cemeteries. The Wayna Picchu mountain, overlooking the city, can also be climbed if you have purchased an entrance ticket in advance (only 400 tickets are sold per day). After your tour you will have the opportunity to choose where to have lunch whether you want a restaurant in Aguas Calientes or at the entrance of the citadel. Later, you will go to the train station from where you will start your return to Cusco by train. Upon arrival at the corresponding train station, a member of our staff will accompany you to your hotel in the city of Cusco.

DAY 4
MOUNTAIN OF COLORS
ASCENT TO THE AMAZING MOUNTAIN OF 7 COLORS
Early in the morning approx 04:30am Our transportation will pick you up and take you for a trip of approximately 3 hours to the village of Cusipata where you will have a light breakfast to be able to ascend the mountain of colors with energy. After breakfast the guide will give the necessary indications before the ascent. The hike has an approximate duration of 01:30 hrs of ascent and 01: hr descent, there is also the option to climb the mountain on a horse to enjoy the scenery without much physical effort for an additional cost of 100 soles approximately. Once you arrive at the Vinicunca viewpoint you will have 30 minutes to appreciate the scenery, take pictures, feel the connection with nature and have a very good time in tranquility. After descending the group will meet to share their experiences on the hike and also to return to the city and to have a typical lunch in the town of Cusipata. The tour ends at approximately 06:00 pm at a point very close to the main square of Cusco.

DAY 5
FAREWELL
Today you will leave Cusco, so, depending on the departure time of your plane, our transfer drivers will take you to the airport. Once you arrive at the airport, thankful for your confidence and your visit in our country, the program will conclude.
