    CEREMONY:

The ceremony will take place outside the city of Cusco, so as not to have contact with the Catholic religion, since it is a mystical and non-Catholic ceremony.

Generally, the Andean marriage ceremonies begin in the morning, moving to the place chosen by the couple (place of the couple’s choice, it can be near Cusco as well as in Machupicchu), to perform the ceremony only in the course of the morning. Then, if the couple wishes, they can perform the catholic and civil ceremony, according to their program.

The ceremony starts early, at 7:30 in the morning and will last about 02:00 HRS APROX, being carried out with the Ceremony of Purification and Flowering, followed by the Ceremony of the Four Elements: Water, Fire, Air and Earth. Also, in the act of the ceremony, the Ceremony of the Dispatch or Offering to the PACHA MAMA will take place, which consists of giving a matrimonial offering, so that the PACHA MAMA protects the Sacred Union that is being performed. The ceremony is complemented by a series of activities to confirm the union in the eyes of our Andean Gods, which can be:

    • SUCHI TIYRAY (Gift Exchange): In this case, there are a series of exchanges of garments (presents) that the man and woman make to each other. The type of product to be exchanged will be explained to you at the agency, since each product will have a special meaning that only you will know at the time of the ceremony.
    • T’INKAY (Toast of Honor): This ceremony is performed with a toast of Andean drinks that will serve to fortify the marital union since then.
    • MERIENDA (buffet): This is the act of feeding that is offered to thank the guests and is composed of Andean snacks and even a main course (This part of the ceremony is optional

IMPORTANT: In the ceremony, it is necessary to make the exchange of garments (presents) that will be mentioned in the agency, so that the ceremony is stronger, as well as the products that you will take for the Ceremony of Offering, which makes the person or couple identify more with the Ceremony of Offering.
